About

Hi! I’m Jordan Redhawk. If you don't know the name, you’re probably very lost! I’m a lesbian romance author, gamer and geek.

My first foray into writing fiction was a third grade English assignment. That tale is lost to the ages now, but even at eight years old I used slang in my dialogue…which meant that classmate Elliott couldn't give my harrowing tale appropriate gravitas and style to which I deemed appropriate.

Control freak? Nah, not me!

My next English assignment was for high school. (This one, at least, is still available for perusal.)

As a young adult, I discovered Star Trek fan fiction. My mediocre attempts morphed into disaster as I flirted with writing 'real' books. I eventually gave up that field in favor of the fine arts, namely speculative fiction paintings and drawings.

Then came Xena: Warrior Princess, and I found a home, first penning a Xena/Highlander crossover called 'Only One.' Multiple stories soon followed, and in 2001, I published my first book - Tiopa Ki Lakota - with Renaissance Alliance Publications.

Since then, I've published sixteen titles, most with Bella Books.

I’ve continued writing lesbian romance, many with a speculative fiction flavor. These days I'm livin' la vida geek in Oregon with my wife of nearly four decades and a handful of cats, all of whom keep me on my toes.

Welcome to my home away from home. Given half a chance I’ll talk your ear off about Star Trek, Critical Role and the writing process!
